Exemption for Covenanted Ignitions under RIDDOR
HSE has issued an exemption certificate that removes the requirement to report certain unintentional ignitions as dangerous occurrences. The exemption comes into immediate effect, but it is a condition of the exemption that the specific ignitions shall have been registered beforehand with HSE.
